Meet Heintz Wealth Management
Explore our approach & learn about our founder.
Heintz Wealth Management is a financial planning and investment management firm that takes a unique approach to first understand what is most important to each client, and then provide plans to manage their financial resources in an effort to reach and maintain their life goals. Inspired by the efforts from the Kinder Institute of Life Planning, our Financial Planning process guides individuals and families as they connect their money to their time, talent, and energy in their own meaningful ways with financial plans that speak to the person as a whole – not just the facts and figures.

A Look Beyond the Work
Personal Insights From Bud
Is Bud your real name?
I’ve had the nickname Bud, or Buddy, since childhood (though Edward is my real name). My father and son share the same nickname, so it can be confusing yet fun around the dinner table.
What’s something most people don’t know about you?
I’m adopted. I was raised by two amazing parents who worked hard to put me through college and always told me to work with my brain and not with my hands. When I was 20, I met my birth mother and was fortunate enough to have two great families in my life.
What’s the biggest adversity you’ve faced?
Seeing my mom be diagnosed, suffer and die of cancer. Because of this, I live every day as if it’s my last, have fun, don’t take things too seriously, and do things that would make her smile. This experience also played a role in my emphasis toward life planning and not just financial planning.
What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever done?
I ran with the bulls two days before doing a Gran Fondo (an amateur biking event) in southern France. I trained for the previous seven months to be ready for riding a stage of the Tour de France in the Pyrenees, and figured while we were in the area, we might as well make a visit to Pamplona to test our running skills.
What do you do for fun?
I’m a passionate cyclist, hitting both mountain bike trails and the road regularly. I’ve competed in races around the country, including numerous 24-hour team competitions. Being outside in nature, either on the bike or on foot, is important for me to put life into balance.
